Optional Covers in Personal Accident Plan
Adventures Sports Cover
Temporary Total Disablement – If the insured person cannot earn income temporarily due to an accident, then in such a case the insurance company pays Temporary Total Disability (TTD) as per the weekly income of the insured person. This can be 100 weeks or more depending on the insurance company and the plan’s features.
Accidental In-Patient Hospitalisation
If the insured person has to be admitted to the hospital for 24 hours or more due to an accident, this is why this optional cover is there. Suggestion: If the insured person already has Indemnity health insurance, then he should not take this optional cover.
EMI Protect
Suppose any insured person meets with an accident. In that case, the insurance company pays EMI of a certain number of insured persons to the insurance company as EMI Protect Optional cover if there is an Additional Death (AD), Permanent Total Disablement (PTD) and Permanent Partial Disablement (PPD) and during the living condition, the insured person is not able to carry out his normal work or duty using for the period of minimum a month.
Broken Bones Benefits
In the Broken bone benefit, there is already a fixed cover amount it can be from 1 lakh to 5 lakh as per the plan, and the company pays it as per the category of bone and medically how many bones are broken.
Loan Protect
Every loan lender takes every possible insurance cover which has to be paid by the customer from the loan amount, so first of all, you should check your loan whether this cover is there in the loan or not, if not, then you should take this option
Coma Benefit
If the insured person does not die due to an accidental injury but goes into a coma, the entire amount is deducted from the plan beforehand and the policy continues
Burn Benefit
The insurance company also pays some % as per in burn injury as per the plans
Accidental Medical OPD
In case of an accident, if there is a need to remain admitted for 24 hours and the treatment is done in OPD, then you should take this optional cover which has annual limits as per the plan
Adventure Sports Cover
If the Insured Person suffers an Injury solely and directly due to an Accident that occurs during the Policy Period whilst engaged in a sports activity carried out under the guidelines, codes of good practice and recommendations
